Privacy Policy
Sana Deals, Inc. operates Vendarin as seller-operations software for its authorized ecommerce activities, including its integration with eBay. This Privacy Policy explains how Sana Deals, Inc. handles personal information through Vendarin in connection with eBay transactions, fulfillment, support, reconciliation, security, and related compliance activities.
This policy applies to information processed by Vendarin. eBay separately controls information processed through eBay's own services and is governed by eBay's own privacy terms.
1. Information Vendarin May Process
Depending on the transaction, eBay service, and authorized workflow, Vendarin may process information reasonably necessary for seller operations, including:- eBay account or user identifiers supplied through authorized eBay services, including immutable user identifiers when provided;
- order, transaction, listing, and marketplace identifiers;
- purchased item, SKU, quantity, and transaction information;
- buyer name, shipping address, and contact information made available for legitimate fulfillment, delivery, returns, support, fraud-prevention, or transaction-reconciliation purposes;
- shipping service, carrier, package, delivery, and tracking information;
- cancellation, return, dispute, and customer-service information;
- order status, payment status, settlement, and reconciliation information made available through authorized seller services;
- seller authorization and integration metadata needed to operate the authorized eBay connection;
- security and audit information such as timestamps, notification identifiers, system states, and integrity evidence.
Vendarin does not need or request an eBay user's account password.
Vendarin follows data-minimization principles and does not retain information merely because an interface or service makes that information available.
2. Sources of Information
Vendarin may receive information from:
- eBay through authorized eBay Developer Program services and APIs;
- Sana Deals, Inc.'s own authorized ecommerce and business records;
- wholesale or distribution suppliers used to fulfill eligible orders;
- shipping carriers and fulfillment-related service providers;
- infrastructure, security, and other service providers used to operate Vendarin;
- individuals involved in a transaction, return, support request, or privacy request.
3. How Information Is Used
Vendarin processes eBay-related personal information only for legitimate purposes connected with the authorized seller operation, including:
- validating and fulfilling orders;
- routing eligible orders to an appropriate wholesale or distribution fulfillment source;
- coordinating shipment and delivery;
- supplying or reconciling tracking information;
- handling cancellations, returns, disputes, and buyer support;
- preventing duplicate fulfillment, fraud, unauthorized activity, overselling, and other operational errors;
- performing accounting, transaction, settlement, and operational reconciliation;
- maintaining security, audit, and compliance evidence;
- complying with applicable legal, tax, accounting, marketplace, and contractual obligations;
- responding to valid privacy requests and eBay Marketplace Account Deletion or Account Closure notifications.
Vendarin does not use eBay Content or eBay personal information to train algorithms, machine-learning models, large language models, synthetic-data models, or other artificial-intelligence systems.
Vendarin does not use eBay buyer personal information for unrelated advertising or unsolicited marketing.
4. Sale and Disclosure of Personal Information
Vendarin does not sell, rent, or trade eBay personal information.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary for an authorized transaction or valid legal or compliance purpose, including to:
- eBay;
- a wholesale or distribution supplier selected to fulfill an applicable order;
- shipping carriers and fulfillment providers;
- infrastructure and security service providers used to operate Vendarin;
- professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
- courts, regulators, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities when disclosure is legally required or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose should be disclosed.
Service-provider processing remains subject to applicable legal, contractual, confidentiality, security, and eBay Developer Program restrictions.
5. MarineWaze Separation
Vendarin and MarineWaze are operated as separate business systems.
Vendarin does not provide MarineWaze with restricted eBay buyer personal information, eBay order/customer records, seller credentials or authorization tokens, or supplier-confidential operational information.
MarineWaze may provide Vendarin with read-only product or technical intelligence that does not require disclosure of restricted eBay personal information.
6. Security
Sana Deals, Inc. uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of information processed through Vendarin.
These safeguards include measures intended to:
- restrict access to personal information and credentials to authorized purposes;
- protect public network communications using HTTPS/TLS;
- protect seller credentials and authorization information from unauthorized disclosure;
- minimize the personal information retained and exposed to individual system components;
- limit sensitive information in ordinary application logs and other unnecessary destinations;
- detect and respond to unauthorized or abnormal activity;
- reduce the risk of duplicate, unintended, or ambiguous consequential commerce operations.
Security controls are reviewed as Vendarin's architecture, eBay requirements, and applicable risks change.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
Vendarin retains personal information only for as long as it is required for an authorized operational, contractual, security, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, legal, or compliance purpose.
Personal information should be deleted when the earliest applicable deletion requirement is reached, including when:
- it is no longer necessary for the legitimate purpose for which it was collected or processed;
- deletion is validly requested by eBay or the applicable individual;
- Vendarin's applicable retention requirements call for deletion; or
- continued retention is no longer permitted under the eBay Developer Program or other applicable requirements.
Information may be retained when a specific and demonstrable legal requirement requires retention, such as an applicable tax, accounting, collection, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legal obligation. Any such retention is limited to the information and period required for that purpose and does not authorize unrelated reuse.
If participation in the eBay Developer Program ends, eBay Content and personal information will be handled in accordance with the termination and deletion requirements of the applicable eBay agreements.
8. eBay Marketplace Account Deletion and Account Closure
eBay may notify Vendarin when an eBay user requests deletion of personal information and closure of the user's eBay account.
For a valid and authenticated Marketplace Account Deletion or Account Closure notification, Sana Deals, Inc. will identify applicable personal information under Vendarin's control using the identifiers supplied through the authorized eBay process and delete information that is no longer permitted or required to be retained.
Information will be retained only where a specific and demonstrable legal requirement justifies continued retention. Such information will be limited to the applicable legal purpose rather than returned to normal operational use.
Deletion required by eBay will be treated as permanent and must not be intentionally reversed through restoration, rebuilding, or another operational process.
9. Privacy Requests
Depending on applicable law and the nature of the information involved, an individual may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or other processing of personal information.
Requests concerning information controlled by Sana Deals, Inc. through Vendarin may be submitted to:
Sana Deals, Inc. may verify the identity, authority, and scope of a requester before disclosing, changing, or deleting personal information in order to protect information from unauthorized access or deletion.
When information is maintained primarily by eBay, the individual should also use the privacy tools and request processes provided directly by eBay.
10. Service Providers and International Processing
Infrastructure providers, carriers, suppliers, and other authorized service providers may process information in jurisdictions in which they operate.
Where international processing or transfer is subject to legal or contractual requirements, Sana Deals, Inc. will handle the information subject to applicable data-protection law and applicable eBay Developer Program restrictions.
11. Children
Vendarin is a seller-operations system and is not designed or offered as a service for children.
Vendarin does not intentionally collect personal information from children independently of information legitimately supplied through an authorized marketplace transaction or other lawful business process.
If Sana Deals, Inc. becomes aware that personal information was collected outside an authorized or lawful context, it will address that information in accordance with applicable requirements.
12. Changes to This Policy
Sana Deals, Inc. may update this Privacy Policy when Vendarin's actual processing, applicable law, eBay requirements, service-provider relationships, or security practices materially change.
The current public version will identify its effective date.
A change to this Privacy Policy does not by itself authorize a new use of eBay data or personal information. Any new processing must also comply with applicable eBay requirements, legal requirements, and Vendarin's technical and operational controls.
